As vowed members of the Ursuline Sisters of Tildonk, we are “inspired by the life and charism of St. Angela Merici our foundress and Reverend John Lambertz our founder.  Saint Angela’s life was profoundly rooted in God.  Her whole hearted response to God’s infinite love and her deep union with God gave her a  great inner freedom which enabled her to contemplate God and serve God in the Church.  Our Founder, John Cornelius Martin Lambertz, was a man of simple and steadfast faith.  This gift of faith manifested itself in humility and joyful confidence with which he sought to do God’s will throughout his life”.  (Fullness in the Life of Christ)

By dedicating our lives to God through the vows of Poverty, Chastity and Obedience, the Community of the Ursuline Sisters of Tildonk share in the freedom of Angela and the steadfast faith of John.  We are dedicated to living the gospel.  We are energized by the Spirit of God. We stand by the oppressed economically poor.   We dare to effect change in our society through our work in education, spirituality, corporate responsibility, and interfacing with the ordinary people we encounter each day.

If you are interested in joining us as we “live our prophetic call and use our collective voice in the spirit of Angela and the Gospel of Jesus in order to confront the problem of violence” please contact:
