Sr. Agnes Seebach entered the congregation of Ursuline Sisters in 1960 and professed her final vows six years later. With degrees from St. John’s University and Loyola University, Sr. Agnes taught for several years. Her first assignment was her home parish, St. William the Abbot in Seaford, followed by St. Thomas the Apostle, Our Lady Star of the Sea, and Our Lady of Victory. Following her distinguished teaching career, she felt called to Parish ministry and spent the next 20 years in Virginia at the Church of the Resurrection, St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception, and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. She returned to New York in 1999 to serve the retired Sisters as the Coordinator of the St. Ursula Center before her retirement in 2004.
