Sr. Claire (Anna) was born in Ozone Park, New York. She entered the congregation of the Ursuline Sisters of Tildonk in 1936 at the age of 19. She taught for many years at Nativity BVM, St. Thomas the Apostle, Holy Family High School, and St. William the Abbot.
