Sr. Peggy was born and raised in Brookyn, New York. She entered the congregation of the Ursuline Sisters of Tildonk in 1951 at the age of 19. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education and a Masters in Mathematics from St. John’s University. Sr. Peggy began her teaching career at St. Maurice and from there went on to teach at Our Lady of Grace, St. Thomas the Apostle, Holy Family High School, and La Salle Military Academy in Oakdale, NY. She also served her community as the Assistant Novice Mistress.

Sr. Peggy retired after 35 years of active service and continued a ministry of prayer.
