Sr. Mary Louise (Dorothy) entered the Ursuline congregation in 1940 and professed her final vows five years later. She went on to serve many years as an elementary school teacher and music instructor, having taught at Nativity BVM, Our Lady of Victory, Our Lady of Grace, St. Thomas the Apostle, St. Gregory the Great (Bellerose), St. William the Abbot, and Holy Angels Regional School (Patchogue). A talented artist and musician, she continued teaching piano privately and volunteered as an entertainer at several assisted living facilities in her retirement. Sr. Mary Louise was active in the Cursillo movement and was a member of the Columbiettes of Patchogue.
