December 18, 1904 – December 6,  1988

Born in North Dakota, Sr. Xavier professed her final vows as an Ursuline Sister of Tildonk in 1932. She earned her BA and MA from St. John’s University and her PhD from Fordham University. Sr. Xavier taught at Nativity BVM and St. Maurice before being sent on a mission trip to Ranchi, India. A trip that was only supposed to last a few weeks became a 30-year devotion as she taught in India at St. Xavier’s College where she touched the lives of countless people she served.
