Sr. Michael (Mary Ellen) professed her vows in 1929 and passed away on this day in 1993. For over 60 years she served as a teacher at Nativity BVM in Ozone Park and while she loved all of the students, she was particularly fond of the younger grades. It was often said that Sr. Michael “loved the babies and the babies loved her”.
