Sr. Patricia was born and raised in Howard Beach and entered the Ursuline community in 1956. Having earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from St. John’s University, a Master of Arts degree from SUNY New Paltz, and certifications in Elementary and Art Education and Administration, Sr. Patricia ministered for many years in education. She taught at Nativity BVM, Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament and St. Mary’s High School. She also taught and later became Principal of Our Lady of Grace, the elementary school she herself had graduated from. Sr. Patricia was a Eucharistic Minister and member of the Bereavement Team at Our Lady of Grace for many years.
