Sr. Philip Quigley left  her home in Clones, County Monaghan, Ireland in 1935 to travel to New York to join the Ursuline Sisters of Tildonk. For more than thirty years she served as the congregation's seamstress and spent her entire life as an Ursuline Sister at Blue Point.

Philip was joined in her vocation as an Ursuline Sister of Tildonk by her sister,  Sr. Martha.
